KNOT-TEC - Wood Repair System...

Simply fill the knot hole with Knot-Tec adhesive. (Fig.1)

If required use the special heat sink metal blocks and silicon release
mat to create a form around knot holes that are on the edge or go completely though the wood. (Fig.2)

 

Wait just a few minutes for the adhesive to cool and then trim the excess with a sharp chisel or knife.

The wood can then be sanded, painted or treated in the normal way.

The Knot-Tec adhesive has been specially formulated
for this application and is available in 4 colors that
create invisible repairs.The sticks are available in amber, beige, black and cola. (Fig.3)
3 sticks of each color are supplied with the kit, further supplies are available in 10 stick packs and bulk cartons
10kg (22lb).

The kit comes in a metal toolbox and contains a high temperature glue gun, 2 x metal heat sink blocks, silicon release mat and 12 glue sticks
( 3 amber, 3 beige, 3 black and 3 cola) (Fig.4).
